What is intuitive eating?

Intuitive eating is a mind-body approach to health. It provides an opportunity to work on your relationship with food without the judgment, guilt, and shame that’s often associated with diet culture and weight.

Virtual GLP-1 coaching from a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

GLP-1s are a tool for weight loss and should not substitute diet and lifestyle changes. Making diet and lifestyle changes in conjunction with a GLP-1 medication can help increase your success at long-term maintenance. Working with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) will help you figure out your individual needs involving dosage, health conditions, lifestyle changes, nutrient requirements, exercise, and side effect management.

Work with us to retain muscle mass and metabolic rate, mitigate and manage side effects like nausea, vomiting, constipation, and diarrhea, and change your habits so you can both stay on the GLP-1 and not rely on it for life. Let us help you change your life, manage your side effects, and reclaim your power around food.

How we can help

We will help you feel your best while on a GLP-1 weight loss drug. Together, we’ll focus on high-impact, nutrient-dense eating that supports your health, even with smaller portions. You’ll also learn how to tune into hunger and fullness cues over time. Don’t rely on a GLP-1 for life or regain the weight when you stop taking the GLP-1 medication. It’s time to get the support you need.

With 1:1 nutrition coaching, you’ll receive a personalized plan designed just for you. We’ll consider your dosage, side effects, schedule, food preferences, weight loss goals, household needs, and more to create a plan that works for you. We’ll also offer chat and email support in-between session to help you every step of the way.

1:1 nutrition coaching

We offer personalized virtual nutrition coaching for people on GLP-1s, plus in-home services in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the Bay Area.

1:1 coaching includes a customized nutrition plan, recipes and meal plans, practical nutrition education, ongoing email and chat support, post-session notes, and a one-year membership to our meal plan program, Weeknight Dinners.

Small group sessions are available for GLP-1 users, busy moms, and professionals.

Behavior change is hard — especially around food. The right support makes all the difference, and we’ll be here to guide you every step of the way.

“Intuitive eating is a personal process of honoring health by listening and responding to the direct messages of the body in order to meet your physical and psychological needs.”
