Workshop one: How to Prioritize Yourself with Ease on Sunday, 11/6 from 11am-12pm
Workshop two: How to Meal Plan with Ease on Sunday, 12/14 from 11am-12pm

This two month series will give your the tools, support, resources, and community you need to feel confident and comfortable building a self-care routine that allows you to Take Care of You, so you can continue taking care of those you love — without reaching burnout or fatigue.

Marriage and Family Therapist Diandra Madina, LMFT will host the fist workshop, How to Prioritize Yourself with Ease on 11/16 from 11am-12pm.

Goals of our time together will be to learn more about what self-care truly means and why it is important to continue to prioritize this attention to yourself when things become busy/overwhelming. We will remove unnecessary pressure or expectations of this practice.

Objectives:

  • Learn about the nervous system and its impact (both helpful and harmful) on daily functioning

  • Identify techniques that will assist in regulating your nervous system that are practical and easily able to be applied whenever/wherever

  • Complete a mini personal assessment to learn what areas in your life need attention

  • Leave with a personalized, "Taking Care of You" plan based on your assessment results

Dietitian and Family Nutritionist Kelly Powers, MA, RDN will host the second workshop, How to Meal Plan with Ease on 12/14 from 11am-12pm.

It's time to remove the pressure, stress, and overwhelm of meal planning. Join dietitian and family nutritionist Kelly Powers, MA, RDN to learn how to meal plan with ease so you can stress less about "what's for dinner?" (and breakfast, lunch, and snacks).

By the end of the workshop you'll have:

  • A one-week meal plan with recipes and a grocery list so you can feel confident and comfortable "Taking Care of You" and your family.

  • A snack guide for balanced snacks that are easy, packable, and delicious.

  • A blank meal plan template so you can build out your own family meal plans.

  • You'll also have the chance to ask Kelly nutrition questions so you feel supported on an individual level.

Let it be simple and sustainable with support from a family nutritionist and a community of like-minded women who are navigating it all.

Diandra Medina, LMFT

As someone who grew up in Southern California's appearance-focused culture, I was exposed firsthand to the impacts of physical criticism and societal pressure. Through this experience, I discovered the transformative power of reconnecting with oneself through movement and mindfulness – insights that now inform my therapeutic approach.

My mission is to help you find your voice and rediscover your sense of self, particularly if you've been impacted by past traumas or societal pressures. Together, we'll create a personalized roadmap for self-care and develop tools to manage daily distress and relationship challenges.

From our first consultation, I am committed to ensuring you receive the most appropriate care for your needs. This means:

  • Creating a safe, judgment-free space for exploration

  • Developing practical tools that fit your lifestyle

  • Incorporating body-based healing methods when helpful
