Oatmeal with pomegranate, pistachios and honey


A quick and filling breakfast packed with fiber and antioxidants


– 1/4 cup steel cut oatmeal, raw
– seeds of 1/4 pomegranate
– 8 pistachios, chopped
– 1 date, seeded and chopped
– 1/2 cup milk of choice
– honey [optional]


1. Place oatmeal in a glass jar or Tupperware and top with date, pomegranate seeds and chopped pistachios
2. Top with milk
3. Drizzle with honey [optional]
4. Cover with lid and shake – ensure liquid covers oatmeal mix [add more as needed]
5. Place in the fridge [it will be ready to eat at meal time]

Note: oatmeal can be enjoyed hot or cold [if you prefer hot, simply heat on the stove or in the microwave]
